My first contact with Dave was via email at approx 9:00 p.m. in June of 2007. I asked him about the pricing of the Von Dupor, and about how he could work to help me design a bike. Expecting the same poor customer service I’d seen with past builders, I was surprised to get a response back from Dave within an hour of my email. Over the next few months, Dave and I exchanged multiple emails and phone calls. With each conversation, Dave exceeded my expectations. He was personable & willing to work with my design ideas. He invited my wife and me to come visit his shop and begin the design & build. Dave worked with me on every detail of the bike to use my ideas, yet enhance the design with his expertise. One of the first phrases Dave said was “I am not a salesman, I’m a builder”. And he was right – he was 110% customer service driven through the entire process. After the delivery, Dave continued to follow up ensuring I was happy with the bike. Additionally, he provided a CD of over 300 pictures of the bike from start to finish. Dave Dupor started as just another builder on a web site, and quickly became “The” builder for my dream bike.
